The Psychosocial Support for Workplace Safety and Health Officers (WSHOs) course is specially tailored to equip WSH professionals with the psychological tools and practical strategies to support colleagues affected by workplace stress, incidents, or crises. Aligned with international best practices, this training empowers WSHOs to go beyond physical safety and foster a more holistic approach to workplace well-being. Rooted in the World Health Organization (WHO) framework and endorsed by the Danish Red Cross with support from the IFRC Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support, the course focuses on building WSHOs’ confidence to respond calmly and compassionately in high-stress situations. The course combines interactive discussions, case study analysis, and role-play simulations, enabling learners to build confidence in responding to both acute and ongoing mental health needs among workers.

Eligible for 2 SDU Points.

This program marks an important shift toward mental wellness as part of occupational safety and is ideal for WSHOs, supervisors, and those involved in emergency response or incident reporting roles.
