The training aims to equip Singapore Red Cross volunteers and members with technical knowledge and skill sets to support regional humanitarian response activities. Overseas Disaster Deployment Training (ODDT) remains compulsory for members representing the Singapore Red Cross in overseas deployment and relief activities. By the end of the course, learners will have the technical knowledge and skill sets to support regional humanitarian response activities.

The training will cover topics such as:

·       Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

·       Needs Assessment

·       Relief and Logistics Management

·       International Humanitarian Law

·       Psychosocial Support
